I chose Soul Elite as the title of my magazine because I thought that having the genre of the magazine in the title would be clear for the reader to know what type of magazine It is, there for it will capture people looking for it or grabbing the attention of soul lovers and there's out really that many urban magazines out there. The word in the title “Elite” making the reader feel unique and part of a group or a collective. Almost like part of a niche audience that not everyone is in. Almost gives the magazine a “cool gang” vibe. So people will feel like their buying a magazine special towards them and people just like them.

Target audience

•The  music magazine I will be producing  will be Urban/Black music orientated. It will appeal to both males females from18 to 35 years old, hitting that new discovery age and these ages are mostly influenced by imagery in the media and inspiration

•With a soul magazine  it has to include older artists as to make it more viable as the new soul artists thrive on the influence from older artists therefore integrating older readers and informing younger readers as well which is why my target audience is quite vast.

•It will be published monthly because as it doesn’t involve charts it doesn’t need to be weekly. With it being monthly this means it can still keep relatively up to date. Also it wont be based around news stories so it doesn't need to keep up to date as much. Also with a publication like this it will be bought monthly unlike magazines like TOTP which keep up to date for every fortnight and the audience aren't likely to buy a magazine that frequently

•The magazine will be based around such magazine such as Vibe MOJO and Q magazine.

•I will attract the audience by using certain imagery to catch the readers eye and also not cluttering my cover with too much information because it will distract from the audience I'm trying to capture.

•The price  will be around £3.99 because most magazines of this production are around this price.
